The day was dark and cold as rain splattered on the ground washing the blood from the streets. Screams of fear and the unmistakable sound of gun fire being used for protection could be heard from inside the houses which had fallen silent. The only thing that blocked it was the occasional crack of thunder and the hard pounding rain. A day in which only had been peoples nightmares had finally become reality. The outbreak had started just a few days ago and the hospital had been under quarantine but it broke out. Citizens had been told to stay in their houses but the fear and instinct to survive had created a panicked frenzy to get supplies or even leave town to find some place safer where the outbreak wasn’t. Sadly it doesn’t feel like any place is safe anymore.
What is the outbreak? Nobody knows but all we see is the dead being reanimated, the majorities of people who die are coming back just seconds after their death. Luckily the people who have been dead for years aren’t rising from their graves. Many people are starting to ask questions and so far no answers are being found. Is there a cure? Nobody knows. Where did it come from? Nobody knows that either. How does it spread? Once again nobody knows that answer either. So far some people have watched as their loved ones had flesh torn from their bones and as blood soaked their clothing. How do we fight this when we are just civilians that haven’t had any training in combat and more important how do kill someone just days ago were calling our friends or family?
